Mr. Fan Tie became a registered architect with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA ARB) in 2002 and was awarded the Harnourne Maclennan First Prize. He joined RMJM Architects, participating in the Scottish Parliament Building project. In 2003, he joined Foster + Partners and contributed to notable projects such as Terminal 3 of Beijing Capital International Airport and the West Kowloon Cultural District Plan in Hong Kong.
In 2014, he was appointed Design Director at ATDESIGNOFFICE. His notable works include the Deep Sea City project, the Colombo Port City design proposal, which supported China Harbour Engineering Company in achieving the largest overseas investment project by a Chinese state-owned enterprise in Sri Lanka, and the Kaihua International Center, a supertall skyscraper in Zhujiang New Town, Guangzhou, which was awarded the ”2016 China Quality Model Commercial Office Building.” Furthermore, his landscape design for the Wuhan East Lake Greenway was recognized as a 2016 United Nations Habitat Environment Demonstration Project.
