Kenneth Tse, an architect educated and brought up in Hong Kong. He has been devoting to projects about community, culture, visual art and historical heritage for more than 20 years. He received his Master of Architecture from the University of Hong Kong in 1997. He won the First Prize in the architectural design competition for the Centre for Youth Development in 2000 and established as the co-founders of Meta4 Design Forum Ltd until 2024 spring. His major awards include: Hong Kong Institute of Architects Medal Award for the design of Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre JCCAC in 2009, The International Union of Architects (UIA) Friendly & Inclusive Spaces Award – Honourable Mention for the design of Viva Blue House in 2017, UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation, Award of Excellence for the Revitalization of Blue House Cluster in 2017, Hong Kong Institute of Architects Medal Award and Heritage & Adaptive Reuse Special Award for the design of Viva Blue House in 2018. He completed a Master of Science in Sustainable Heritage with Distinction from the University College London (Bartlett) in 2021. He moved to the United Kingdom in Spring 2024 and opened his own studio OEOM Studio Ltd meaning “Open Eyes, Open Minds” in search of the sustainable methodology between heritage and modern architecture.
